FUSES
Fuse box1
If an incident occurs in an electrical
component, check first of all that
the fuses are sound. Also make sure
that the faulty component is
correctly connected. If a short
circuit occurs, unscrew one of the
wing nuts on the battery posts to
isolate the battery.
Open the cover2(under the steering
wheel). To identify the fuses, refer to label4
(shown on the page opposite).
It is advisable not to use the free
fuse locations.
Check the fuse in
question andreplace it,
if necessary,with a fuse
which must be of the
same rating as the original fuse
If a fuse is fitted where the rating
is too high, it may cause the
electrical circuit to overheat (risk
offire)intheeventofanitemof
equipment using an excessive
amount of current.
CORRECT INCORRECT
Use tweezers3to remove the fuse.
Toremovethefusefromthe
tweezers, slide the fuse to the side.
A wise precaution:
Obtain a box of spare bulbs and
fuses from your Renault Dealer.
